UAEs oldest Bur Dubai Hindu temple committee, which has been hosting an iftar during every Ramadan in the past five years, happily shared with I2D team their journey of iftar kit distribution which just started with few hundred packets five years back, today reaching 1100 packets a day.
Ramadan provides a great opportunity for all communities to come together and to focus on virtues like gratitude, patience, and generosity. In this regard, Iftars and ramadan activities here offer exclusive experiences that reflects the strength of the country’s ethnic and religious unity.
Iftar kit consist of pure vegetarian food accompanied with dates packet and water, which is then handed over to nearby Satwa Mosques. Most of the visitors to the mosque are from the nearby construction sites and seeing their happiness, brings the true essence of ramadan.
Raju Shroff, CEO of Regal Group, personally visited the Mosque and monitored the iftar arrangements.
I2D team also was part of this occasion and was mesmerized with the support and love showered on us too.
