Virat Kohli says it will be great feeling for both him and New Zealand’s captain Kane Williamson to again be leading their teams against each other at a world cup. In 2008 under-19 World cup semi-final at Kuala Lumpur, Kohli had taken the wicket of Williamson when they were both captaining their countries.

According to Cricket pundits India are favourites against the Kiwis since they have been very consistent and well balanced team in the tournament, meanwhile Kiwis have stumbled to three defeats in their last three matches. But as the saying goes:

The game is not over until the last ball is bowled.”

The Kiwis can create trouble for India if they bat first and score 300+ runs, then India might be in trouble since the New Zealand fast bowlers can become lethal.

Old Trafford has been one of the batsman friendly ground at the World Cup with the teams  easily scoring more then 300 runs. The team winning the toss would want to bat first unless there is cloud cover and chance of rain.

Weather forecast:There is a chance of rain at times throughout Tuesday. Most of the rain will be light and patchy, so there shouldn’t be any long interruptions to play.Temperatures are expected to reach 19-20C.

In the unlikely event of weather forcing no result tomorrow, the game will recommence the following day (reserve day) from where it was stopped. The result of the toss, too, will be taken forward even if not a single ball is bowled on the scheduled day.

  1. Hopefully the openers will chip in tomorrow also for us. So far Indian team success mainly depend on the openers performance in this tournament.. middle n lower middle order is still a big concern for India.. hopefully all will be ok for next two games. Coz we deserve to win this World Cup.. go india go
